Ok, let's face it: Sculptey is great when You don't have access to real clay and a kiln. Right? But for those of us who have used that loveable oven bake clay, we also know its down side.... Yep, it fricken cracks and no matter how we try to fix it, we just end up wanting to throw the sculpture across the room! Grr!
Now while it is best to bake the clay at least once, I have figured out a method that gives the artist the advantage of true hardness of bnaked clay with the ease of not baking it at all. What I do is I form the inside structure using aluminum foil and wire. Take some clay, and work it. Then pinch it into a thin sheet. You will h
